Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, stay visible, support access control points, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including completing notifications and documentation per site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Support shipping and receiving and employee entry points by verifying credentials, directing traffic and/or truck flow, and assisting with orderly movement through controlled areas.
