You will conduct routine rounds across yards, docks, and perimeters, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor interactions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to situations with calm professionalism, delivering service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor and document access to the location by verifying identification, controlling entry and exit points, issuing visitor instructions, and maintaining logs for deliveries, pickups, and contractor activity.
• Respond to alarms, disputes, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift change to support continuity of security-related operations.
