This role is for a Security Officer Foot Patrol Response in Tulsa, OK, serving and safeguarding clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. The position involves working as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining visibility to deter security-related incidents, and supporting daily operations through strong communication and customer service. The ideal candidate will bring a caring, reliable approach, work effectively as part of a team, and act with integrity to make a meaningful impact during each shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations, activities, and incidents according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or vehicle entry activity in accordance with site rules and assigned post orders.
  • Support emergency and incident response efforts by communicating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
