As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence, routine patrols, and commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will contribute to a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees as required.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines while performing patrol duties.
