Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a leading aero and defense location, where your presence and proactive rounds help to deter incidents and promote orderly operations. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by checking identification, verifying credentials, processing visitors, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, access control systems, and camera systems, and take appropriate action based on site post orders and escalation protocols.
  • Perform screening of packages, deliveries, and vehicles when assigned, and report suspicious indicators in accordance with site policies.
  • Carry, handle, and secure assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, training, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Write clear, detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, and complete required documentation for security-related events, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Conduct building and area checks, including doors, gates, and restricted access points, and report deficiencies for corrective action.
  • Support special events, badge audits, and heightened security-related postures when directed, including increased patrol frequency and additional access verification.
