About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site contacts.
Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, when appropriate.
Prepare detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
