As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, data hall support areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, documenting observations and reporting irregularities per post orders.
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoff communications to support continuity of site operations.
