As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident documentation. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with vehicle patrols and quick response across the site. Bring strong communication and a customer-first mindset as you work with a reliable, agile team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading and unloading zones, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions.
• Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, logging entries and exits, and following visitor management procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, alarms, access activity, and incidents, and communicate timely updates to supervision and/or site leadership.
