Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact for employees, drivers, and visitors. You will manage access control, check credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to help support smooth operations. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Control access at the reception area by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Complete shift reports and maintain accurate documentation of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related events.
