Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will greet and assist employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage sign-in procedures, issue badges, answer phones, and document activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and/or drivers by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies and security-related protocols at the front desk.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary badges and/or credentials as directed, and directing guests to appropriate check-in areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, shift pass-downs and delivery and/or contractor records per site requirements.
