As a Front Desk Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor alarms and cameras, and document incidents and/or requests with clear communication. You will help support a welcoming environment while contributing to security-related operations through strong customer service and attention to detail. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk in a tech office location by following site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests to appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor entry points and lobby activity using security-related systems and/or CCTV, document observations, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Answer phones, handle general inquiries, and coordinate with building management and onsite teams to support a professional lobby experience.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, contacting emergency services when directed, and assisting with evacuation or shelter instructions per site procedures.
  • Complete shift reports, incident reports, and access logs accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions to support continuity of operations.
