As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will greet guests and team members, verify access, manage visitor logs, and assist with directions and customer concerns. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with onsite partners. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and tenants at a front desk in a retail or mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests to the appropriate areas while following location rules and procedures.
  • Monitor the front lobby and nearby entry points for unusual activity and policy violations, and help to deter unauthorized access through presence and observation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating concerns when possible and requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as visitor records, incident documentation, and shift activity updates, and communicate pertinent information to the incoming team.
