As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support smooth operations through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including warehouse floors, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity that may help to deter loss or damage.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow for employees, visitors, and deliveries, assisting with check-in processes, directing drivers to designated areas, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts per site procedures.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and promptly communicate hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site management.
