As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to patrol larger areas and complete detailed reports. Requirements

Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, substations, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching notifications and/or requesting assistance per post orders.
Control access at gates, lots, and entry points by verifying identification, logging visitors and vendors, and directing traffic and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervisors and/or site contacts, and support investigations by preserving relevant information.
