As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, report observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, which is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor check-in, and assisting with inbound and outbound vehicle screening per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm responses, suspicious activity calls, and/or dispatch coordination as directed by post orders.
• Complete written and electronic reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
