As an unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support access control while observing for security-related concerns. You will document activity, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors to help reduce incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate internal teams and/or public resources as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, labs, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or hazards.
- Monitor access points by verifying credentials, directing visitor check-in processes, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
- Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs; communicate observations and follow-up needs to supervisors and/or client contacts.
