As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-energy tech location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and clear communication. You will help identify and report security-related concerns, respond to incidents, and work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and building perimeter, watching for conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verifying credentials and/or authorizations, assisting with delivery and contractor check-in processes, and directing people to the appropriate areas.
  • Communicate and coordinate with site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed, using radios, phones, and reporting tools to relay information and request assistance.
