As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols within the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual situations to management and/or law enforcement as required.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or assisting visitors as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols or assigned duties.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to address security-related concerns and support a positive workplace atmosphere.
