As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms and incidents while providing strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense billing and office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to alarms, service calls, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, workspaces, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policy, and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and support investigations by preserving observations and reporting relevant information through proper channels.
