Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Screen individuals entering the government location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors with directions, answering questions, and explaining site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random checks of assigned areas within the location to observe and report on any security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
