As a Screener with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor entrances and help to deter security-related incidents by verifying credentials and managing access control. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
Screen individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials according to established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain orderly flow of people in and out of the location.
Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Collaborate with team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the financial institution.
