Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as a Screener, where you will greet patients, visitors, and staff, support entry screening processes, and communicate clearly with care teams while helping to reduce security-related incidents. You will remain visible, document observations, and escalate concerns through established procedures. Requirements

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Staff a screening post to help control access by greeting entrants, verifying authorization, directing foot traffic, and/or issuing visitor credentials per site policy.
Conduct screening activities as required by site procedures, which may include checking for prohibited items, observing for concerning behavior, and/or confirming compliance with entry requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and nearby corridors to help identify unusual activity, report concerns, and/or request additional Allied Universal support when needed.
Complete detailed incident reports, screening logs, and shift documentation in a timely manner and communicate important information during shift turnover.
Support security-related access control by assisting with wayfinding, managing lines, and coordinating with clinical staff for special entry requests.
Follow confidentiality expectations for patient-related information encountered while performing duties and share information only with authorized personnel.
Participate in drills, briefings, and required training and follow directives from Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
