As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, watch for unusual activity, and communicate clearly with associates and visitors while delivering helpful customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse and retail distribution location, including the building interior, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and/or control access points by checking identification and visitor credentials, observing inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, and directing guests to designated areas per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or public responders as required.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and incidents accurately, and communicate significant activity to supervisors and oncoming personnel.
