As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will also assist with access points, observe activity, document key details, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have 1+ years’ law enforcement experience or 2+ years’ security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years’ security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property loss.
• Monitor access points for employees, drivers, and vendors by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or paperwork, and directing traffic flow as assigned.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate shift updates to the next officer and/or site management.
