You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor flows. You will be a steady, customer-focused presence, communicating clearly with tenants, guests, and site leadership. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to building management, tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, and/or property damage, and notify building management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial real estate areas such as lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor directions and tenant requests, and help maintain orderly conduct in common areas in accordance with site instructions.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates during shift turnover.
