As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting store teams and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store associates and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas, observe for potential shoplifting and/or disruptive behavior, and communicate concerns to management and/or local authorities when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, area control, and coordinating response as directed by site policy.
• Document patrols, incidents, and customer interactions in written reports and/or electronic systems, and relay key information during shift briefings and post orders.
