As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and by maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will engage with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with retail staff and customers to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
