As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive service. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.
