You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers and staff with professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, loitering, and other unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store management and emergency services as needed.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sales floor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
