Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for shoppers and staff. This is a driving post, requiring routine vehicle patrols to maintain a visible presence and help to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, embodying Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with store staff and management to address security-related issues and support a positive environment for customers and employees.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or other undesirable activities.
Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrols, and observations as directed by Allied Universal policies.
