As a Front Desk professional in a retail distribution center location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to maintain a secure environment through access control, monitoring entry points, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Assist in maintaining visitor logs and managing visitor badges as required by site policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency response personnel as necessary during incidents.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including providing information and guidance to building occupants.
Remain alert and attentive while monitoring the front desk area to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal supervision or site management.
