As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and communicate with both team members and visitors to help to deter security-related concerns. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment through teamwork and exceptional customer service, while embodying our core values of agility, reliability, and integrity every day.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate communication between security-related personnel and management to help respond to incidents in a timely manner at the retail and mall location.
Operate dispatch equipment and systems to relay information, instructions, and/or requests as needed for the security-related needs of the site.
Receive and document incoming calls regarding incidents, emergencies, or requests for assistance, and prioritize responses based on established protocols.
Maintain accurate records and logs of all security-related communications and activities during the shift.
Provide customer service by answering questions and directing visitors or staff as needed.
Support security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response protocols, as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with on-site security-related personnel to help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity through prompt communication and coordination.
