Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, clients, and/or employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and customer service in a retail location.
Monitor access to the premises, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related issues within the retail environment.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or clients, addressing questions or concerns and providing information as needed.
