As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the property, and delivering exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
Assist visitors, customers, and/or employees with directions or information as needed.
Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to support security-related needs at the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
