As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor guest areas and back-of-house spaces through routine patrols and a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment by assisting guests and staff with questions and service needs, documenting observations, and communicating clearly with the team. Requirements

Have 1 or more years of security experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21 or more years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a hotel and resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, noise complaints, medical calls, and fire or alarm notifications.
Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, lobbies, meeting spaces, back-of-house corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, assisting with key control, lost and found reporting, and coordination with property staff as needed.
Document patrol activities, incidents, and guest interactions in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
