As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer outstanding customer service and communication to residents and guests. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure living environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions encountered during patrols.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Document all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken in accordance with site protocols.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site-specific policies.
