As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the community, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to residents. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to monitor assigned areas and respond to situations as needed, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication in alignment with our company values.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential community.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and property management as needed.
Document and submit detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the site management team.
