You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to guest, employee, and vendor needs with clear communication and strong customer service. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, irregularities, and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and follow visitor management processes, including verifying credentials, directing guests, and/or coordinating with on-site contacts for entry approvals.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to appropriate parties, and coordination with first responders when requested.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, document observations, and communicate shift activity, incidents, and follow-up needs to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
