As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication with tenants, visitors, and management. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances and access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management and/or contractor check-in in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, access issues, and disturbances, and notify property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
