As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and report security-related concerns with clear communication. You will greet employees and visitors with customer service, respond to incidents, and support access and perimeter checks. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points such as lobbies, gates, and loading dock areas by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, directing traffic flow, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting suspicious activity, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders, and assisting with scene control as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support consistent post operations.
