Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a petrochemical refining location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first.

Requirements

• A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of processing areas, tank farms, administrative buildings, and perimeter routes; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, and directing deliveries to designated areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems as assigned; respond to alerts, investigate as appropriate, and escalate concerns through the chain of command to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities, assisting with evacuations and/or shelter instructions, and completing incident reports.
