As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a cutting-edge tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with site staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, support your team, and act with integrity every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including interior areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and critical infrastructure spaces as assigned.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or property damage.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support facility operations by observing for hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns, and promptly reporting findings through established channels.
