As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to service requests with clear communication. You will document observations, support access control and site protocols, and collaborate with onsite teams. Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a tech and media location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter; working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help manage visitor entry by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and/or maintaining sign-in logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or local responders as required.
• Complete routine reports and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors, site management, and/or incoming staff during shift changes.
