As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, communicate clearly, and document observations. Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, corridors, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete required reports and documentation for security-related incidents, patrol observations, and/or policy violations, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts.
• Support access control and visitor management activities such as monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when assigned, providing directions, and/or assisting with controlled area procedures in a healthcare location.
