As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and document observations, patrol results, and incidents in written and/or electronic reports.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
  • Control visitor entry by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing deliveries to designated areas, and maintaining required logs per site policy.
