As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. You will greet employees and visitors with professional customer service, support access and incident response protocols, and collaborate with site teams. Requirements

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal teams and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and conduct security-related screening of people, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification and visitor management as required.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management, and support investigations by preserving details and reporting conditions promptly.
