As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and respond to alarms and access concerns. You will stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations using site technology, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help manage entry and exit of employees, contractors, and deliveries by verifying credentials and/or following visitor control processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications per site protocols.
• Complete timely documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity notes, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
