As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control while communicating clearly with employees and visitors. You will document observations, respond to alarms and/or concerns, and deliver helpful customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, loading and dock areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and/or unauthorized persons per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when appropriate and requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public resources as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations with clear written reports and timely communication to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
