Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor grounds, conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and document security-related activity. You will stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, assist team members and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate clearly across shifts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience using access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, documenting visitor and vehicle activity, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, observations, and incidents, and communicate notable findings to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
