You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge activity, and provide clear customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or post orders, including emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor check-in, directions, and general inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, reporting, and coordinating with site contacts and/or responding agencies as appropriate.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation using accurate, timely, and detailed observations.
